Congress is exempted themselves and their employees from ObamaCare! If they can’t live with what they created and forced down our throats behind closed door and deal making, they shouldn’t force Americans to live with it either. ..However, since Congress passed their own exemption from ObamaCare, what incentive do they have to DEFUND ObamaCare?
Obamacare is “unworkable” — the “wreck is coming, and it is the American people who are going to pay the price,” Republican Govs. Bobby Jindal of Louisiana and Scott Walker of Wisconsin said on Thursday.
In reality, “the Obama administration doesn’t have a healthcare plan,” the governors said in an opinion piece in The Wall Street Journal. “Yes, the White House has a law with thousands of pages, but the closer we get to Oct. 1, the day government-mandated health-insurance exchanges are supposed to open, the more we see that the administration doesn’t have a legitimate plan to successfully implement the law.
Congress is trying to fool you.
Here’s how they do business. A piece of legislation is going to cost trillions of dollars, but Members of Congress don’t want the public to see that. Instead, they have the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) look at the bill for just the first 10 years—and they move any costly items off into the future on purpose.
They did it with Obamacare—saved the budget bombshells for later. Now they’re trying to do it with immigration.
It’s not enough that some Congressional Members understand the problem we face as a nation if ObamaCare is implemented, they have to be committed to preventing it from becoming a ball and chain around our necks for generations to come. Somehow, Americans need to get that message through to Congress.
As everyone knows obamacare was soundly rejected by the overwhelming majority of the population. The democrats with obama at the helm refused to include republicans in the debates over the healthcare legislation they were looking at. In fact obama who stated that he would have the most transparent and open administration in history, had closed door meetings with the drug and insurance companies. The outcome of these secret meetings is our prescription drug prices will remain at their high prices, and even increase, and our insurance rates and fees will sky rocket.
STATE QUESTION NO. 755 LEGISLATIVE REFERENDUM NO. 355
This measure amends the State Constitution. It changes a section that deals with the courts of this state. It would amend Article 7, Section 1. It makes courts rely on federal and state law when deciding cases. It forbids courts from considering or using international law. It forbids courts from considering or using Sharia Law. International law is also known as the law of nations.
If the States do what they should be doing – which is following the Constitution every issue, every time, no exceptions, no excuses – they would say no to every federal gun law, they would say no to all the EPA, they would say no to all the Obamacare mandates, and even the federal marijuana laws too.
