Does having the power to vote make it a democracy? Of course it doesn’t! A nation ruled by a dictator is not really a democracy with real rights. Even though elections are scheduled to be held in September 2011, Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak rules as a dictator. This form of democracy is not really freedom and the reason people are waging a revolution now.
I came across this video recently that made me think differently about the battle between atheists and religion. The points made in the video are in stark contrast to what I thought I knew. I thought it was the Christian Crusades that killed so many people, and that it is other conflicts over God that are responsible for so many deaths of people, but this just is not true.
Let us discuss the first video below and then we will talk about the others. This video is outright scary! I see the situation now as being much worse than I could have ever imagined. I knew I felt uncomfortable about the huge numbers of Muslims gathering in America, and now I know why I felt that way.
Later this afternoon, it was announced that the Mosque is a go and that they will NOT pursue another site to build it. This announcement was made after the Imam returned home from his world tour for the State Department. Let me ask if you believe the Mosque near New York’s Ground Zero has an hidden agenda?
Do they really believe that we should allow anyone to come across our borders without permission? Do they think it is okay for us to cross Mexican and Canadian borders illegally? Let them try and then see what happens. I understand that people will believe what they want to if that is the way they want to think, and that nothing we say or do will convince them otherwise. It is a “no win” situation for everyone. We cannot argue with them or try to convince them of the truth; they don’t want to see things differently. They have decided already what the truth is and will not hear anything we have to say.
