It’s about Pawlenty trying to help Muslim people buy homes because Sharah Law won’t let them pay interest. So, Pawlenty tried to make some sort of accommodations to help Muslims buy homes in America.

Dick Morris criticized Pawlenty in his newest book for a Shariah compliant housing loan. To be Sharia compliant, Muslims can not pay interest. Pawlenty came up with a program that would help Muslim buy a home.
Dick Morris criticized Pawlenty because. at the very least, it was an offence against the Constitution, which means you can’t make special rules for a special religion. What if special provision were made for the Jews limitations because of religion, for Mormons or for whatever? It is obviously not separation of church and state.
