School Lunch Police?

Government justifies its life by controlling yours!

It’s true, a four-year-old child’s lunch was replaced with an alternative lunch because it was not healthy enough. The child had a turkey sandwich, banana, some chips, and apple juice. The “food cop” said the apple juice did not reach the standards and neither did the sandwich so chicken nuggets were given to the child as a replacement.

Has government gone too far once again? How do you feel about this action? It’s bad enough that the liberals in Washington has decided that McDonald’s child menu is unhealthy and forced toys out of the meals but they are deciding that salt and sugar need to be monitored as well in restaurants.

Is it government’s job to monitor what we eat and how restaurants prepare our food or is it our personal responsibility? Government has no business sticking their noses into what we pack for our children’s school lunches; it is none of their business! This is absolutely outrageous and clearly represents the level of government intrusion into our lives these days.
