Ann Coulter: “We Have Killed Off The Rockefeller Republicans”

Ann Coulter: “I think [Mitt Romney] is the strongest candidate. I think of the four remaining, he is the most conservative as I said before. More conservative than any of the other candidates running other than Michele Bachmann, particularly on the most important issue facing the country, which is illegal immigration. By in large, I think conservatives should be celebrating. We’ve killed off the Rockefeller Republicans. In 2008 we had one candidate who was pro-abortion, one candidate who opposed Clinton’s impeachment, we had one candidate who wanted to shut down Guantanamo, voted against Bush’s tax cuts, called waterboarding torture, oh, and that’s the one we ran.”

“We have killed off Rockefeller Republicans. Basically all of them have conservative positions now. I think Romney is appealing. He’s gentlemanly. I think that’s what you need from looking at how Reagan ran in 1980.”

Coulter told Hannity that Bush created 2.2 million jobs and Obama has lost a half a million. Hannity corrected her by saying it is 1.6 million from the day he became President.

Coulter also told Hannity that Bush had the Dot Com burst, 9-11 and then you have Obama going to an earthquake in Japan! He couldn’t get past it. We have almost the same unemployment today that Obama had when he first took office and that’s supposed to be a huge success! We’re supposed to be happy about that? He makes sure people who are Obama’s friends get jobs (like ObamaCare and Solyndra), but if you are not a friend of Obama then you have a hard time in this economy.

Our youth are brainwashed to believe that “Conservatives” are bad for America and “that the U.S. Constitution is a document essentially frozen in time as of the date of its ratification” (words taken from Justice Ginsburg) and does not apply to America’s future. Youth are not taught much about our Founding Fathers and why they left England and came to America in the first place. Instead, they are taught the liberal point of view and indoctrinated with the liberal vision for America.

To counter liberal influence on our youth, we must talk to them about our feelings for America. Voice our patriotism and tell them about our dads or grandfathers’ contributions to protecting freedom. Tell them about your personal feelings and gratitude as well.

We must try to be more careful about what we say in front of our teens and college students. What we say may be viewed as a negative about our country. They don’t have the same understanding as we do because they are young in their dealings with political issues so they may not see our comments in a positive light.
