We have been hearing about all the gloom and doom these past several months and years so we are beginning to tune out to it now.
People tell me all the time that they cannot take all the negative news they hear on Network News and the internet. It’s becoming “White Noise” to them.
The dictionary defines white noise as a steady, unvarying, unobtrusive sound, as an electronically produced drone or the sound of rain, used to mask or obliterate unwanted sounds.
Essentially, white noise is a combination of all of the different frequencies of sound. Because white noise contains all frequencies, it drowns out all other sounds your ears might pick up. White noise is even recognized as a sound masking treatment for attention deficit disorder (ADD/ADHD).
In the case of politics, especially at election time, people tune out to all the rhetoric they hear from politicians. They are sick of it and tired of the biased reports they hear. Because the news is mostly negative, people don’t want to hear it any more and it becomes white noise to them.
“Tuning Out” is a problem when our nation is in danger of losing the American Way of Life. If we tune out like we want to, politicians have open range to do as they please because no one is paying attention to them. Actually, that is probably not true! Politicians have the nerve to do what they want any way without any concern about what we think.
I heard on the Fox News Channel today that our government has become corrupt because Congressional Representatives (who were supposed to work only part time) have made it a full-time career. They have allowed themselves to become corrupt by taking advantage of their positions. They reward themselves with inside stock information and give themselves raises.
Washington has become a den of thieves by allowing mobs of Lobbyists to influence policy and to line the pockets of politicians with five times the wealth they had when they came to Washington.
- They become a den of thieves when they think it’s okay to take money from tax payers to fund their private jets and take lavish vacations.
- They become a den of thieves when they thinks it’s okay to take money from tax payers to pay for their cups of coffee and muffins or snacks instead of paying for that stuff out of their own wallets.
- They become a den of thieves when they thinks it’s okay to take money from tax payers to redistribute the wealth. They think it’s right to take money from those who have paid the price to pay taxes and give it to those who won’t pay the price and pay no taxes.
- They become a den of thieves when they thinks it’s okay to take more and more money from tax payers to pay for their spending sprees, to pay for money they give to foreign nations who hate us, to pay for funding terrorists groups like al-Qa’ida, Hamas and Hezbollah in Palestine, Egypt, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and other nations supported by these terrorist organizations.
- They become a den of thieves when they think it’s okay to take money from tax payers to pay back favors to those donors who helped them get elected or to pass policies that favor their friends and families.
The truth is Congress has become a den of thieves everyday corruption is involved in their decisions, which we find in both parties. There are way too many examples to list to show how Congress has become a den of thieves but we all pretty much know what they’ve been doing.
The question is, “DO WE HAVE THE GUTS TO CHANGE CONGRESS AND CLEAN UP GOVERNMENT?” To do so would mean that we WILL become personally inconvenienced and suffer a lot of unfair policies to get Washington cleaned up.
Another question that needs to be asked is “HOW COMMITTED ARE YOU TO DOING WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE TO CLEAN UP WASHINGTON?”
- To be committed means you pass on the information that you receive to those who will pass on the word as well.
- You have to open your mouth and say something when you hear people make stupid remarks that affect our sovereignty as a nation.
- You need to become actively engaged in voting and getting your voice heard by those in a position to make things happen in Washington.
- You have to have NON-COMBATIVE conversations with family and friends that helps them understand what’s at risk if they follow the wrong type of thinking — meaning they think they need to join protesters like those funded by George Soros.
- You have to teach your children when they are young that this nation is special and why. Show them videos from my site at StandUpPatriots.com that explains the history of our nation and our founding fathers. Children (especially teens) need to understand what price early Americans paid to give us the freedom we enjoy today.
- They are not being taught these things in school. They are being told that America is bad and evil:
- that American Greed is why people suffer;
- that America makes war with other nations to steal their oil (if true, then why have we NO claims on Iraq oil?) and kill innocent people so the rich can become richer;
- and they are told that America has destroyed their own resources so they go to other nations to rape them of their resources.
To conclude this report, let me ask you to please become involved in the way I just described above. Please don’t let the White Noise lull you into thinking it’s just “Politics As Usual” because what we are dealing with today is NOT ”Politics As Usual”!We are following the same path as European Nations toward Socialism. This is not just talk, it is true. We can see how well Socialism works when you see all the nations failing. We see our own nation failing as the Obama Administration tries to point us in the direction of Socialism. What more proof do you need that this IS NOT WHAT WE WANT FOR AMERICA?!!!You need to be educated enough to discuss politics with a liberal. DON’T EVER become combative because that will lead to contention and you will not be able to have a “coming together of the mind” experience. You don’t have to agree with each other but you do need to understand why the other person feels the way he or she feels and he or she needs to understand why you feel the way you do.
To SAVE America, we will need ALL Americans (Left and Right) to stand side-by-side to stop the insidious destruction of this wonderful nation that we inherited from the founding fathers. We owe it to them and to our future generations to do all we can to protect what we inherited from them.
