A NewsNax report says Speaker Boehner claims President Obama is shirking his responsibilities’ as leader. Apparently, since the President should be doing everything he can to fix the economy, he rags on Congress and tries to blame Republicans for the situation the economy is in today. Is that really what a leader does? A leader takes responsibility for the situation and tries to fix the problem by using everything and everybody at his disposal to accomplish that goal.
- What a leader does not do is blame others for his failure.
- What a leader does not do is say one thing and then do the opposite.
- What a leader does not do is pass policy that hurts the growth of business because he knows that is the backbone of a healthy company.
- What a leader knows is that new blood is vital for the company. This means new employees or business partners is vital to generate excitement and new ideas that expand the business and make it prosper. The last thing one would do as a successful leader is ridicule people who are excited about the company and the leadership.
The same is true with what the leader of America should be doing but, according to NewsMax, President Obama is AOL on the job. Many Americans agree with this analysis. What do you think?
The debate over how best to boost the economy is occurring as the Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction appears to be deadlocked. Boehner said he knows one thing that won’t come out of the super committee: higher taxes.“At a time though when we have budget deficits of $1.3 trillion — about 40 cents of every dollar the federal government spends this year — we’ve got to strike a balance,” said Boehner. “But I can tell you this: We are not going to raise taxes on the American people. That is a certainty.”
