Yes, we should recognize the sacrifices of those who go off to war to do what the rest of us don’t want to do. War is necessary, unfortunately, as long as there is evil men and women on this earth who are willing to kill us and those we love, as long as they have power and greed in their hearts, and as long as they want to take away our liberty. Mankind is created to love free agency and to protect it. If it means fight a war and having to kill then that’s what it means. It is what it is, and there is nothing else to say.
