“Few people know that it was President Eisenhower who actually started U.S. involvement in Vietnam, by sending in about 900 “advisors”, who were just like the ones Obama is sending – not supposed to participate in combat operations, and were only supposed to defend themselves if fired upon.” Read the entire story Dictator Obama deploying U.S. troops to more countries submitted by Melissa Brookstone.
Obama: The Pitchfork Operator-in-Chief – Posted by Dr. Rich Swier
March 27, 2010 President Obama met with the CEOs of the largest and most powerful financial institutions in the world.
Politico reported the bank Chief Executives tried to explain to The Chief Executive the rationale behind their and their employees’ high salaries – salaries based upon the free market and global competition for high quality employees.
An agitated Obama brushed them off stating, “Be careful how you make those statements, gentlemen. The public isn’t buying that. My administration is the only thing between you and the pitchforks.”

The current frontrunner for the 2012 Republican Party nomination is a 65-year-old black man. Sure, we could talk about how this is a fluke, or how “Herman Cain” is just how voters tell pollsters “I don’t know what to do yet,” or how this is all part of Mitt Romney’s Rube Goldberg plan to become president.
All of that may be true, later. For now, the GOP’s current frontrunner is a 65-year-old black man.

**Media Advisory***
Join Congressman Allen West (FL-22), Port Everglades Director Phil Allen, Broward County Commissioner Chip LaMarca, and local employers from both the shipping and floral industries on the dock in front of a container ship at Florida’s leading port- Port Everglades- as they discuss the direct, local economic impact of the Free Trade Agreements.
When: Tuesday, October 18th
Time: 3:00 pm
Where: Port Everglades, 1850 Eller Drive
*Reporters will meet at administration building and be escorted to [the] container ship.
Background: The House of Representatives passed the Free Trade Agreements in a bipartisan vote this week, opening up free trade with Colombia, Panama and South Korea. The Senate and President Obama are expected to follow suit early next week, making it law. Port Everglades is the largest exporter in the state of Florida and as a result, an estimated $11 billion dollars in trade, impacting 55,000 local jobs a year will be affected.
West says:
“With South Florida being the gateway to Latin America, the Free Trade Agreements will support and create potentially hundreds of local jobs by leveling the playing field for U.S. goods and services. These long overdue trade agreements will increase exports, lower the trade deficit and stimulate much-needed U.S. economic growth.”
Port Everglades Director Phil Allen says:
“The Port is expected to grow by leaps and bounds now that this bill is passed. Jobs will be added to all industries from truck drivers to the customs industry. We are very encouraged about the economic impact this legislation will have on the South Florida community.”
