Is Obama’s Opposition Lying or Telling Truths?

Two reports are used in this post to confirm that either President Obama is unfairly targeted with smears by Conservatives to discredit him or that he is a liar and a fake!

The first report comes from www.AttackWatch.com, produced by Obama for America. This site provides Obama’s answer to the smears. You can use this website to help you determine if President Obama is lying to his supporters or if he is telling the truth.

The second report gives supposed Proof That Obama Uses Stolen Connecticut SSN 042-68-4425. If true, he needs to be held accountable for it. The Obvious Question should be “Why Would He Need a Stolen SSN”?

www.AttackWatch.Com is supposed to be a website devoted to telling the truth about smears against President Obama, giving people a way to respond back with what they say is the truth.

For example, they say: “Get the facts. Fight the smears. Join Attack Wire—and help stop the attacks on the President before they start.”

They also say: “When another unfounded attack surfaces, we’ll arm you with the truth so you can share the facts with your friends and family.”

ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION

AttackWatch.com says that the truth is “Obama’s Administration has strengthened our borders while making our Immigration system smart and fair.”

Do you believe that “hogwash”?

• If that were true, then why do we have so many states rebelling against the unwanted influx of illegals?
• If that were true, then why are states trying to pass their own laws so that Federal laws can be upheld?

If it’s true that what Obama says is true, that his policy on Illegal Immigration is smart and fair, then we must ask why the following situations exist?

• Federal Laws disagree with this administration
• Border states disagree with this administration
• Our welfare system and schools are already overloaded. Welfare payments going to illegals strain the system, and seem unfair to LEGAL American citizens, who came here legally and actually pay taxes on the money they earn instead of sending it back to their homeland.
• Many people object to the administration’s position on immigration, along with politicians in Washington, and are fighting to protect our borders according to the Constitution.?

AttackWatch.com responds with this comment: “Under President Obama, deportations of undocument immigrants with criminal records have increased 70%.”

In addition, AttackWatch.com says proof is in DHS statement  “Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Janet Napolitano and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director John Morton today announced record-breaking immigration enforcement statistics achieved under the Obama administration—including unprecedented numbers of convicted criminal alien removals and overall alien removals in fiscal year 2010.”

NOTE: Politifact analysis confirms the increase in deportations. ”Beyond the border, we’re going after employers who knowingly exploit people and break the law,” Obama said in the speech on May 10, 2011. “And we are deporting those who are here illegally. And that’s a tough issue. It’s a source of controversy.”

“But I want to emphasize we’re not doing it haphazardly. We’re focusing our limited resources and people on violent offenders and people convicted of crimes — not just families, not just folks who are just looking to scrape together an income. And as a result, we’ve increased the removal of criminals by 70 percent.”

In conclusion, site claims are the following:

1.  President Obama’s administration recently announced policy changes that will help make our immigration system smart and fair.

2.  The new policy will help the Department of Homeland Security prioritize the deportation of undocumented immigrants who pose a risk to America’s national security.

3.  Under the new policy, DHS will review the deportation cases of approximately 300,000 immigrants and suspend certain cases for immigrants who pose no threat to the nation.

4.  DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano says the new policy will not provide categorical relief for any group“.

5.  In the Washington Post, the American Prospect’s Adam Serwer says President Obama’s immigration plan is not amnesty.”

IS OBAMA A FRIEND OF ISRAEL

President Obama is a friend to Israel, despite unfounded claims to the contrary.

AttackWarning.com says President Obama’s opponents have falsely suggested that the President has not been a strong ally to Israel. And then added, “Here are a few examples of these unfounded claims:”

• They say “Mitt Romney alleged that President Obama has “thrown Israel under the bus”
• And that “Rick Perry accused the President of “thumbing his nose at traditional allies like Israel”

Has the President thrown Israel under the bus?

Consider the following actions of the President and then you decide. Actions speak louder than words Mr. President:

• Who gave billions of dollars to Palestinian and terrorist organizations?
• Who stood-up the Prime Minister for dinner when he and the President met?
• Who has given money to Israel’s enemies, knowing full well that they hate Israel and threaten to wipe them off the face of the earth?
• Where are cries of outrage when Israel is attacked over and over again? What does Obama do? He puts outrageous restrictions on Israel and does nothing to Palestine and other enemies?
• Who is the one telling Israel to go back to 1967 boundaries in order to keep the peace with Palestine, completely nullifying agreements made with them by past U.S. Presidents and the UN?
• Who is the one siding with the United Nations in forcing Israel to abide by decisions they make regarding the future?  No other US President would vote against Israel in this matter.

AttackWarning.com responds to how the President supports Israel.

Political leaders both in the US and Israel have publicly acknowledged President Obama’s support for Israel. When asked about the Obama administration, Israel’s Defense Minister Ehud Barak said he “can hardly remember a better period of support.”

President of Israel Shimon Peres called President Obama “a friend of the Jewish people and the State of Israel,” saying “I don’t have any doubt about it.”

Former US Secretary of Defense Robert Gates testified that more has been done to improve the US-Israel security relationship under President Obama than at any time in his 45-year career.

President Obama believes America should continue to prioritize Israel’s security. In a 2011 address to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, the President said “The bonds between the United States and Israel are unbreakable and the commitment of the United States to the security of Israel is ironclad … It’s why we’ve increased cooperation between our militaries to unprecedented levels. It’s why we’re making our most advanced technologies available to our Israeli allies. It’s why, despite tough fiscal times, we’ve increased foreign military financing to record levels.”
