I asked my own grandchildren in Texas the same questions I asked you to ask your children.
For a link that shows pictures of the Founding Fathers, go to AmericanRevWar,
- Ask your children why the Founding Fathers came to America?
- Ask them who is Paul Revere, what did he do, and why is it important?
- As them what the flag means to Americans and why it is flown half mast when there is a death of a leader or of a town soldier, and also when the country is attacked or stressed?
- Ask them what Patriotism means?
- Ask them what it means to be an American?
- Ask them what they think when they hear the word America?
- Ask them what they know about the video “Stuff” that’s being shown in schools?
- Ask them what they know about America’s attitude for cleaning up the air and water?
- Ask them what they know about America’s standing in the world?
- Ask them what they know about the organization “One Nation Working Together”? (It is a communist movement being taught to some of our children in school).
- Ask them what they know about Socialism, Communism, Free Enterprise?
- Ask them what they know about “One World Order”
When I interviewed one grandson, I learned that most everything I wrote in my earlier post is true; I plan to interview others in two weeks. In addition, I learned from my son that in some of the southern towns in Texas, the pledge is being said in Spanish because they have more Mexicans there than white children. My son said, “I don’t mind them learning the pledge in their own language but I do have a problem with the white kids needing to say it in Spanish because they don’t know English.” It makes me wonder if their lessons have be said in Spanish too? It seems backwards to me?
Here is a perfect example of what’s wrong with America: our kids have to say the pledge in another language because some children don’t know it in English. Why don’t those children know English? Why do our children have to learn the pledge in Spanish when Mexican children don’t have to learn it in English? Is something very wrong with this picture?
This post started as a vibrant conversation on Sodahead.com. I share some of this conversation with you as an update to an earlier post. I think this conversation will help you gain a better understanding of what is being said on this subject.
You will likely be taken back by this discussion. Keep in mind that Wm and I are actually friends and have discussed the left and right points of view in a friendly exchange in emails. We respect each other but we don’t agree on much.
My friend Wm said to me: What I find strange is your sources in your blog address. No real source. Also this is all bogus. Our children are learning that Communism is bad and explaining it through history, not as a way of life.
This is just more fear mongering by the right extremists with nothing to back it up. Without looking anything up, Judy, tell me what you believe Communism to be? The pure form of true Communism or what Russia or China had. How is this being implemented in our schools?
Yes, I have read your blog and the lies and fear mongering and out and out deception would be laughable if it weren’t for the fact that you actually believe this crap.
A country cannot be socialists, Marxists, fascists and communists at the same time. I thought you were smarter than this but I guess not. Next you will be showing the internment camps (actually pictures of Korea) and the plastic coffins.
Maybe this blog is just a Halloween joke?
I did not respond back to to his comment: We have discussed this topic at length by email so there was no need to respond.
Patriot said: How can anyone dispute what is happening?? Wonderful information, Judy. Obamunism will destroy this nation, the left has been working on this for years.
Commenter1 said: believing has nothing to do with fact. i know you republicans have a problem with that. whether or not you’re crazy, in my opinion you are clinical.
I responded back with this: It’s interesting how the left always pull the fact card and scientific. Say it all you want, it doesn’t mean a thing to me. You will be critical of anything that doesn’t fit in the box you created. If it doesn’t fit in your box then it isn’t true. I think I know more than you do because I am willing to research all aspects but you zero in on one thing and won’t accept anything else. But that’s fine, you are out of the loop and I don’t care what you think. I know the truth and you can make fun of me all you want and of the info I present. It is what it is.
Wayne said to me: Way to go Judy. Don’t let the lost affect you. You are right on and you will run across pitiful people like this. Nothing we can do about it. We can just move on and let them slip down the hole they deserve to be in. Their loss. God bless.
I said back to Wayne: I guess I won’t even respond to them any more. Thanks.
This is what I got back from Commentor1: to Judy (edited)! Profanity Filter: Active
Patriot said to Commenter1: “One minute your side defends capitalism, but the moment it doesn’t work you blame the black guy even though it’s Bush/Cheney’s fault.”
George Bush was very clear, he was abandoning capitalism to save it. Capitalism is not the problem. The problem is our nation has not been allowed to have unfettered capitalism in decades. *That’s* the problem.
What you really should be afraid of is the REPUBLICAN backed CORPORATIONS that are TAKING OVER our GOVERNMENT.
I responded back to Mar: I appreciate your skepticism, I would not have believed it myself but look at the recent Rally Stewart and the Teachers Union just had in Washington on 10/10/10, open your eyes wide because there it is right there in plain sight. It’s just the beginning. Listen to Al Gore also, but first watch the Rally because that is the most obvious.
IS THIS ENOUGH PROOF FOR YOU? YEP, I’M CRAZY ALRIGHT!
Kh said to Mar: They only managed to kill 100 million of their own people–we should give it another try!!
I am convinced that it doesn’t matter…I strongly believe the world is going to end and in the new world everyone is going to think the same way and everyone will be united. No more wars or battles, no more separation.
My response back: Yep, and you know what else, we need one world order then but not the kind the comunist creeps are pushing?
C.R.A. said: The key to America’s future and to the return to limited, constitutional government is the elimination of government-run schools and their replacement with private schools. There is an obvious conflict of interest when government is put in charge of the schools. Government wants to expand its powers and to choose our values and micromanage our lives. It wants to train and indoctrinate young people to be good, compliant socialists who believe government is the solution to every problem. The big government people scoff at the Constitution, while having the schools teach children that they have individual rights only insofar as the government chooses to give them rights. The individual is not sovereign, they are merely interchangeable entities of a given group identity. White males are the oppressor group and given to violent and prejudice, according to the code of the government socialist schools. As such, central planners can easily handle them and avoid the complexities of individuality.
I responded back: I am in complete agreement with you. For example, pub schools don’t teach children the concept of free enterprise where people can start up their own businesses instead of working for someone else. The backbone of this nation is entrepreneurs but kids haven’t had that concept instilled in them. It is the spirit of Entrepreneurs that settled this nation. I also hate the ethics and morals of our children being controlled by gov. It makes me sick that kids don’t know basics of what this nation is about and what makes it special. It makes me sick how the kids are taught about communism in a positive way and yet democracy and free enterprise is downplayed and even demonized. I can’t stand the reading material they are asked to read that most parents would never condone or ever have been asked to readthemselves let alone accept. It’s the devil that’s in our public education now and that needs to change.
Theresa said this: That is why I recommend all Conservative parents to Homeschool your children. You need to remove them from the governmental Indoctrination centers!
My response to Theresa: I have tried to get my daughter-in-law to do this but she won’t. I think she is too overwhelmed by it. It scares me to death that our kids are being eaten alive by the world out there and have little defense against it. I like what someone on SH said: grandparents should start doing home school teaching for their grandkids.
Theresa to me: Sounds like a plan, I think Grandparents should be intimately involved in their Grandchildren’s education. I know my grandparents were for me. They have grandparents day in Indiana so grandparents visit schools with some telling their stories.
My response back: I agree, can you see that? I think it would be superb!!!! And it would give them something to do too. Can you hear the stories they could tell about how things used to be? WOW, that would be cool.
Theresa to me: Listening to my Grandparents was one of my favorite things to do when I was younger!
Me to Theresa: Me too. And my dad still has some good stories to tell. Our kids need to hear those things. It is part of their heritage and that is being lost in our society today. It is so sad, and that knowledge could be passed on if parents used their parents this way. It would be nice if schools would invite some of these people in to classrooms to share stories with the children. I know all sorts of skills are being lost as our older folks pass away. It would be fun to know how to make butter and ice cream. How to make a sweater, how to mend a sock, how to make your own pattern, how to make bread, how to do just about anything that society is forgetting.
Theresa to me: Actually Me and some of my cousins created a video library of all the family recipes and other tall tales before they died.
Me to Theresa: That is so so so so so cool. What a great idea. By the way, one of the skills that are disappearing is crocheting. I taught three grandkids how to crochet so what I’ve done is extended ny skills through them. They made me cute things at Christmas time. It was so adorable.
wtw said: Planks for the communist manifesto looks like Obama’s platforms for america.
Me to wtw: It sure does doesn’t it. It is scary!
Cn to me: My kids are a lost cause, one of them is working for Joe Sestak and I am vey proud him. My children get to choose, I only hope they choose left!
Me to Cn: Well, it is good you have raised them to choose, good for you. That is how I have raised by kids, I think the best thing we can do for our kids is teach them how to make decisions for themselves and to be accountable for those choices. Too many parents hang on to their kids and don’t want them to make wrong choices. So then they don’t get to make real choices until they leave home. Parents have left them unprepared to face the real world. Sounds like you’ve done a good job with your kids.
Cn responded back by saying: Thank You!
wtw to Cn: So are you ok with the america moving in a socialistic direction? I won’t give a nasty answer. I am just interested in your thoughts?
Cn to wtw: I am interested in a democratic society without a specific religion dictating what we do as a nation.I have always believed in social justice for people who cannot speak for themselves and for all of us as a whole. I have never waivered on my beliefs however, now with this President in office, I am called a socialist from ignorant sources that may be frightened with the ever growing changes in our country. I understand this but I will not except it. To me its all about Justice!
wtw to Cn: I agree as did our constitutional framers. I wholeheartedly beleived in socialism as a philosophy as I still do. It is a fantastic philosophy as is certain communist beleifs. My problem as I watched over the years is the practical working out of these philosophies. I have become more a pragmatist. I have looked around the world and watched the practical workings of socialistic movements. It has really helped me having married a Peruvian woman who has been through a socialistic movement and has seen how they operate. There was a great example when Fujimori was the president in power in Peru. The same thing happened to her nieghbors in Argentina and Chile. Now Venezuala has gone totally socialistic. I care about the people and I am only concerned with how we work this out practically and doing what is best. I really do understand your point!
Wayne to Cn: Cn, I believe in social justice for all too. However, I beleive that socialism is a very bad thing. It is extremely unjust and does not work for good. That is what our founding fathers believed also and provided a new type of government called a Republic. This is a government that is based on laws not by the dictate of a majority – which is what democracy does. What the founding fathers tried to do was make a limited democracy which was supposed to make laws fair for all. Your current president is not only a socialist but a marxist which is a really really bad thing. In the beginning, when we were a great country, we had freedom – freedom to do what made us happy and free as long as we did not fringe upon the right of others the same right. The founding fathers provided us with a plan, system, government in the form of a Constitution, Bill of Rights to guarantee this freedom would last as long as to guarded those great instruments and keep them intact and only add to it by amendment adjustments to continue to maintain this great freedom. However, socialism claims democracy is the best system in which the majority could dictate what is right and just for all. They believe in taxes, taxes and more taxes to take away from you to give to everyone else. They will eventually take away all your freedoms. It will just happen. Eventually what they think is best for you just may not be what you think is best for you. Also, they provided contitutionally that no religion would dictate what you do as a nation. This is dominionism – which is what they have in Iran and many of the other Islam nations in the world. In communism as well they have the freedom from – as I was taught in school in the fifties – not the freedom to. The government decides what you can do and have not you. sorry – enough.
Theresa to Cn: Socialism will Have a certain Religion that Will be enforced upon everybody! That religion is Islam!
Wayne said: I don’t like what I am seeing happening to this great Republic. I personally don’t believe that communisim is what they are seeking to establish here, I think it is socialism. Both are collectivism. Both are horrible, but socialism is the worse to me. Socialism has been taught in the universities since the mid 1800s. These teachers then are now teaching our children. Socialism/Communism and taught to be better than capitalism. I think a lot of the middle class, the common folk of this country are beginning to wake up because our leaders are NOT listening to their concerns. Congress and the Executive branch don’t think they have to listen. This is the true tea parties. Not the TEA PARTY that S. Palin and the Republican Party have taken over.
Me to Wayne: Look at the video I posted below with the One Nation Working together and into it a little you will see their pamphlets and then you may change your mind about what they are doing. I wouldn’t have believed it either if I had not seen it with my own two eyes. Oh, I think the TEA Party has definitely ignited the interest of the people and awakened them to the evils going on around us now. I was asleep but didn’t think I was, especially now that I see the Communism influence that I had no idea of until I saw a communist flag in the clip that Fox News played of celebrations when Obama won the election. I was shocked, I had no idea.
Wayne to me: Hey Judy, I’m on your side here. I do, however, believe it is more socialism that in being triumphant in the USA more than communism. Yes, the communist flag is displayed at many rallies along with the nazi emplems. What is taught in the public school text, as well as university, is socialism – in history, economic, and civics. Capitalism is debunked as evil and unfair and socialism is praised as good and fair, equitable and the best system for all. This is just what I see when I look at the texts I have bought that are used to teach our students in the schools and universities. Communism is tauted to be better than capitalism but socialism is superior. The video was an excellent addition to the topic. By the way, in case you haven’t read it one of my favorite books today is The Creature from Jekyll Island by G. Edward Griffin. He has just published a new edition (5th. I think) which adds currant material which includes the currant executive administration and the antics of the currant congress. I have not read it yet but I do have it on the way. Another book I like and suggest everyone read is Fabian Freeway by Rose L. Martin. Thank you for you efforts here – good battle. Keep up the good work. By the way, the reason I like Mr. Griffin’s work is he give good references to support his conclusions. I buy all the available reference books from all the books I buy which gives me more insite to the topic.
Me to Wayne: Hey, think you will like this video.
AM I STILL CRAZY OR ARE YOU PART OF THE MOVEMENT TO OVERTHROW AMERICA?
Wayne to Me: Very good. Yes, this is socialism ramped up. All is needed is a false flag incident or a major catastrophy of some kind to implement the program. Thank you for sharing.
