It’s Another Power Grab

Small business owners Patty Briguglio and Marilyn Landis sound off on the small business credit bill that has stalled in Congress.

Marilyn Landis, a small business owner, is in favor of passing the small business bill that is stuck in Congress right now. She claims that when one program stopped in May of this year, SBA (Small Business Administration) loans have dropped 66%. Landis says there are 12 million small businesses out there who can’t get the loans they need.

Small business owners that get loans and start uo a business hire people. This in turn will help stimulate the economy. This is why Nancy Pelosi called Congress back from break to vote on a $30 billion dollar small business credit bill.

Although it is obvious that small businesses need access to capital, there is a great deal of criticism about this bill. Patty Briguglio is one small business owner who is against this bill.

Briguglio says this bill would give government equity in the small banks that give these loans. Her complaint is that government should NOT OWN banks.

This meticulously planned takeover of Free Enterprise is getting ridiculous. Pelosi just won’t stop pushing forward in government owning banks, mortgage and lending companies, auto companies, and on and on and on….

How are we going to stop this aggressive grab of our nation’s assets by the government? When will they stop?

Obviously, this administration does not plan on stopping until they are out of office and the damage has already been done. It will have gone too far by that point for Republicans or whoever takes office to fix what this administration has done to our nation.

Perhaps the only way to stop this grab is to work with Democrats who want to keep their career in Washington. They still have values that support FREE Enterprise and our Republic for which it stands.

What do you think is the answer? Perhaps the following videos will give you some insight on this topic.
