On Sunday, Senator David Vitter, R-La., told Fox News he that they are trying to determine whether the Obama Administration has seriously considered giving mass legalization for illegal immigrants. New concerns have been raised because of a newly discovered memo that outlines ways to grant legalization without going through Congress.
Although the memo is just a draft, first obtained by Iowa Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley’s office from the U.S. Customs & Immigration Services, it outlines ways to legalize thousand of illegal immigrants “in the absence of Comprehensive Immigration Reform,” as first reported by Fox News last week.
“Then this 11-page memo has gotten out, and it’s not alleged anymore,” Vitter told Fox News. “It’s right there in black and white. So, again, we’re reiterating our strong concerns, and still no answer.”I stated in my report (http://canwebelieveit.info/2010/07/30/still-considering-executive-order-for-amnesty/) that the memo was 52 pages, but NewsMax.com reports that it was only 11 pages. I was stating what Fox News reported.
Senator Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., also said on CBS’ “Face the Nation” that he was “very disturbed” to see the memo discussing “non-legislative ways to achieve amnesty.” The fact that this administration is making it a habit to go around Congress gives us more proof that Congress is becoming obsolete (http://canwebelieveit.info/2010/07/29/congress-will-be-powerless-when/).

I hope you let your Congressional Representatives know how you feel about this situation with a memo planning how to give amnesty without Congressional approval.
- I also hope that you explain to your Representatives how they are becoming more and more obsolete as the President finds ways to go around them.
- Ask them how long they expect to continue supporting a President and Administration that has no problem going around them to achieve his/their goals?
- Ask them when they plan to wake up and protect the Constitution and the foundation of the Republic of the United States of America?
