If you have not signed up yet for GOPUSA I hope you do soon. There is important information for you.
I posted this issue because I want you to read the report about Congress putting their coffee bill on taxpayers. This Congress just has no conscious do they? As Americans struggle to put food on their table (thank you Congress and your taxation for your spending spree) they have the nerve to have the American people pay for their coffe, something they personally can afford themselves. This makes me sick.

Fresh Ink: 348,468 cups of coffee bought for Congress at taxpayer expense
Right before the 1994 elections, there was a flurry of stories about all kinds of wasteful spending, even downright fraud in the House of Representatives, to include things from exhorbiant salaries for elevator operators to hundreds of thousands of dollars spent every year to deliver buckets of ice to each congressional office daily. Then there was the House Post Office scandal, the House bank scandal and a whole host of abuses that churned in the news and no doubt contributed to the “throw the bums out” atmosphere. Fresh Ink: Heads up, Illinois voters! Mark Kirk wants to make friends with the Democrats Mark Kirk sure has the Washington two-step down well, if this report is correct. A source has just told me that Kirk didn’t announce his support for Elena Kagan this morning because he wants to wait until after 5 PM to “minimize any negative impact” that his announcement might have in Republican circles. Really? Commentary: It’s a Fiscal Problem, Not a Fed Problem Ben Bernanke threw a curveball in his midterm report to Congress this week. The Fed view of the economy has been downgraded since it last reported in February. Although the official Fed forecast for 2010-11 is still 3 to 4 percent real growth, Bernanke sounded particularly gloomy when he characterized the economy as “unusually uncertain.” And he indicated that the majority view of the Fed Board of Governors and Reserve Bank presidents is that the risks to growth are “weighted to the downside.” News: Bush tax cuts may be temporarily extended for some WASHINGTON (AP) — Many Americans could be hit with a big tax increase in the next two or three years despite President Barack Obama’s repeated promises to shield the middle class from higher rates. Fresh Ink: Tea Party grassroots aren’t so sure about caucus Even though Michelle Bachman is a darling of the grassroots movement it seems tea partiers may not quite trust the effort to formalize the movement in Congress. Fresh Ink: Fox News Carl Cameron, unplugged We’ve seen previous examples of reporter Carl Cameron’s leftist bent but to my knowledge he hasn’t openly attacked his own network until now. News: Oil spill work stalls as Bonnie races toward Gulf ON THE GULF OF MEXICO (AP) – Work to permanently choke off BP’s broken oil well stalled Friday as Tropical Storm Bonnie raced toward the Gulf of Mexico and dozens of ships evacuated the area.
