Message From Michael Steele

What do you think about this message? Do you think it’s mostly political rhetoric or do you think the message has merit that should concern Americans? I am interested in your thoughts on this subject.

From: Chairman Michael Steele

Subject:  They’ll listen to us now — or hear us in November!

Dear Judith,

During his State of the Union speech in February, Barack Obama pledged to “focus like a laser beam” on the most pressing issue for Americans — high unemployment.

He immediately broke that pledge by focusing on getting his disastrous socialist takeover of our health care pushed through the Pelosi-Reid Congress, adding yet another unfunded entitlement to the staggering debt he has foisted on our country.

The result? Unemployment has risen to 9.9%, and Obama’s team is telling us we’ll just have to get used to it. Read more about it here

. It’s time to let the Obama Democrats know we won’t take it anymore. And when you make an urgent contribution of $5 or more to help our GOP candidates take back American government for the American people today, I’ll send you three bumper stickers that will send the message loud and clear.

Barack Obama’s dishonest rhetoric of misdirection and his insatiable hunger for ever greater government growth, control, spending and debt are no longer in doubt.

But future prosperity and freedom in America are. Folks across the country have had a rude awakening from the Obama Democrats’ fairy tale claims of moderate bipartisanship and pie-in-the-sky promises of “hope” and “change.”

From the $862 billion “Stimulus” boondoggle to the takeover of automotive companies, and the hijacking of health care to Cap-and-Trade and Card Check, Barack Obama and his radical leftist Democrat allies have been after one thing: transforming America into a European style socialist society.

The leftist Democrats and their public sector union henchmen have fashioned the ultimate monopoly. They have made the U.S. government an industry unto itself, not the limited necessary evil which protects the rights of the citizens it is supposed to represent.

It is now the ultimate racket — abusing the coercive power of government to enrich themselves at the taxpayers’ expense. And forcing our country down the path to the kind of financial insolvency and social chaos which is engulfing Greece and threatening all of Europe.

But when Main Street Americans standing on the Founders’ firm traditions of limited government protest, Democrats accuse them of being “extremists,” “racists,” “teabaggers,” and “one of the largest threats to our internal security.”

This is what the American people can expect when they demand responsible government? It’s time for the Obama Democrats to stop vilifying their own fellow Americans and listen. And there’s no better way to make them understand than by displaying the “PROUD CONSERVATIVE,” “IS IT 2012 YET?” and “LISTEN TO ME NOW — OR HEAR ME IN NOVEMBER!” bumper stickers you’ll receive when you make a $5 or more contribution to the RNC today.

Sincerely,

Michael Steele Chairman, Republican National Committee

P.S. Judith, I hope you’ll take this opportunity right now to support the election of conservative, common-sense Republican candidates this November who will restore government which serves the people’s interests instead of lining the pockets of the public sector union apparatchiks who fill the Democrats’ campaign war chests. So please get your bumper stickers with your contribution of $5 or more to the RNC today. Thank you.
