CBS’s Smith on Face the Nation

I do not understand why people cannot see through the tactics from the left to accuse everything and everybody who disagrees with them as racist.

What is the matter with people?  Are they so blinded by the left and their propaganda that they don’t see the manipulations going on behind the scenes?

Do people really believe that everyone who supports controlling the invasion of illegals (around 20 million or more) into our country is a racist?

Do they really believe that we should allow anyone to come across our borders without permission? Do they think it is okay for us to cross Mexican and Canadian borders illegally? Let them try and then see what happens.

I understand that people will believe what they want to if that is the way they want to think, and that nothing we say or do will convince them otherwise. It is a “no win” situation for everyone. We cannot argue with them or try to convince them of the truth; they don’t want to see things differently. They have decided already what the truth is and will not hear anything we have to say.

All we can do is take care of business as usual and hope that someday people will open there eyes and see that this law in Arizona is not against Mexicans who come here legally. It is about protecting neighborhoods from crime, property owners from litter, damages and dead bodies, and from people getting into accidents without a driver’s license and insurance.  Neither is this law against immigration in general.

People will hopefully figure out one day that the problem is harm that comes into this country from those crossing our borders who would normally not be here legally. If they can’t understand these problems then perhaps they need to live on the border and find out what those people there have to live with EVERY SINGLE DAY, and they should not have to since these people are here illegally!

All of this is easier to understand when we are talking about average citizens, but not someone who is supposed to know better. See this view and then just shake your head and wonder “Where is the sanity?” and then comment on how you see this situation.
