We need to work together to make our communities more peaceful and help those who need what we can do for them by utilizing our combined skills and resources.
GOALS
- Our common goal is to look for resources within the community first so people do not become dependent on government subsidies and then take care of their needs.
- Our common goal is to reinforce “Old Fashioned Values” that strengthened this nation in the past but are no longer accepted by society today.
- Our common goal is to ignite the spirit of entrepreneurism and then help them succeed.
- Our common goal is to bring people together in Our common goal is to bring people together in camaraderie. With greater concerns arising today about those things that divide us, the most important goal is to bring people together by emphasizing what we have in common.
- Our common goal is to educate people about manipulations by politicians to fuel racism for political advantage. Hate and anger have accelerated greatly, especially since Obama became president.
- With Obama being the first black President, and because his campaign capitalized on that fact, we have politicians (through the media) attributing disagreement with his policies to distain for his race.
- It’s ridiculous to attribute disagreement with his policies as racism. In addition, we also have divisiveness growing between political parties, and for gay rights and marriage.
- Never before have I seen such vile things being done or said because of this situation. WE MUST TRY TO DO ALL WE CAN TO CHANGE THIS SITUATION IN AMERICA.
- Our common goal is to deal with increased problems caused by illegal immigration along state borders, an increase in civil disobedience because of divisiveness, an increase in unemployment with more people needing assistance, and an increase in teenage pregnancy and single moms and their need for assistance. These situations cause a great amount of strain on community resources.
Together We Can Resolve Community Concerns:
Communities that work in cooperation with families, churches, and businesses can help restore Community Spirit to society.
Society today is in dire need of restoring values in our personal and business dealings.
We can resolve these points of concern together. We can work together on achieving our goals and overcoming obstacles. This is how we can move forward and resolve the problems we face as a nation, now and in the future.
Personal tenets espousing healthy values begin in the home. This means parents and family members need to teach their children correct principles so they understand how to live a happy life.
Communities that teach values and support a healthy mind, body and spirit are secondary to children being taught these things in the safe environment of their homes. The home is where children have an opportunity to practice what they learn and to receive rewards or consequences for how well they abide by them.
In addition, these principles need to be demonstrated in our neighborhoods and communities. Eventually, healthy values will return and again influence society.
